Research Topic:

My dissertation research explores the identity construction and learning experiences of Latino men and boys in schools. I bring an intersectional and political economic framing to this work and provide timely contributions to the growing conversation on boys of color and urban schooling. My postdoctoral project examines the professional experiences and classroom practices of queer, trans, and feminist-allied Latino men who are teachers.
