PPFP turns 40 this year! The PPFP 40th Anniversary Celebration will be held on November 4-5, 2024 at the beautiful UCLA Luskin Conference Center in Los Angeles. The two-day event included keynote speakers, professional development workshops, and a gala dinner honoring the history of the PPFP.

We would like to thank our keynote speaker JoAnn Trejo, Assistant Vice Chancellor, Health Sciences Faculty Affairs at UC San Diegobest known for her discoveries that reveal how cellular responses are regulated by G protein-coupled receptors in the context of vascular inflammation and cancer. We would also like to thank our second keynote speaker Professor and Thomas E. Lifka Endowed Chair in History, Kelly Lytle Hernández, one of the nation’s leading experts on race, immigration, and mass incarceration.

PPFP covered conference costs (room and meals) for all participants until capacity was reached. Current President's and Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellows and their mentors had travel and incidental expenses covered through their professional development funds provided by PPFP. We ask that former fellows and program supporters cover their own travel and incidentals expenses.
