PPFP 30th Anniversary: October 9-10, 2014, Berkeley, CA 

PPFP turns 30 this year! The PPFP 30th Anniversary Celebration was held on October 9-10, 2014 at the beautiful Claremont Hotel in Berkeley. The two-day event included keynote speakers, professional development workshops, and a gala dinner honoring the founders of the PPFP.

We would like to thank our keynote speaker Claude Steele, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost at UC Berkeley, a recognized leader in the field of social psychology. EVCP Steele is known for his commitment to the systematic application of social science to problems of major societal significance, including his groundbreaking work on stereotype threat.

PPFP covered hotel accommodations and conference costs (room and meals) for all participants. Current fellows and mentors will have travel and incidental expenses covered through their professional development funds provided by PPFP. We ask that former fellows and program supporters cover their own travel and incidentals expenses.
